Greetings Family of The Most High God!
His word is the fuel for our bodies to absorb His Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit)!
Pray this;
Father, help me to know you better and more personally through Your WORD and don't let satan steal the words that are being planted in my heart. Amen.
The blossom teaches us to bear fruit
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. (Matthew 7:16-25, Mattityah, Gift of Yah)
Bearing fruit in the bible has to do with the concept of growing in your relationship with The Most High, by following His teachings/commandments.
I'd like to share a nugget of truth. Another amazing visual demonstration in the Hebrew culture, envisioned and created by The Most High, is the blossom.
In the bible it's called: tassels or fringes. Tzitzit in Hebrew. Remember that Hebrew is mostly concrete thought, which is functional, where people speak in ways that are functional and easy to visualize/relate to and are associated with a part of every day life that easily drives a point home.
The blossom is meant as a visual demonstration of what walking in truth and bearing fruit means.
The Hebrew word/definition: STRONG's - fringes
a floral or wing-like projection, i.e. a forelock of hair, a tassel. [feminine of H6731] KJV: fringe, lock. Root(s): H6731
And יְהוָֹה spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of יְהוָֹה, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. I am יְהוָֹה your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am יְהוָֹה your God. (Numbers 15:37-41, KJV)
So the purpose of the blossom is to bring about fruit in a believer's life to grow in the grace and knowledge of God.
Gather with us as we bear fruit.
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. (Matthew 21:19, Mattityah, Gift of Yah))
Each of these Hebrew teachings lends a certain insight into our Father reaching out to His people, with these "demonstrations" of life, which lead a person in the paths to understand Him more fully and clearly show the way to follow Him.
The source of my understanding of this concept, is Jeff Benner. He is an authority on biblical Hebrew and has a knack for explaining it in layman's terms with a non-judgmental attitude.
